Hi; You describe an interesting situation, "running out of gas". Running out of gas is never interesting, but if I read you right, your back wheel actually locked? From this I assume that if the engine dies, compression is such that it will actually stop the wheel rotation? This must have happened at very low speed? Thanks for sharing your experience, I will be especially mindful of gas supply.
